Shakhtar's director of football Darijo Srna commented on the team's recent match against Ajax:

- We are already preparing for the Champions League and, at the same time, we continue charity games to help Ukraine. After only 12 days of training we showed a good game against Ajax. I'm proud of our team.

After today's game I'm sure we're on the right track. We have young guys with Shakhtar hearts in our squad. They are great and we must continue with them. I liked how we played with Ajax - we lost, but lost in our own way.

We do not forget about the war in Ukraine. We are together, we are united - only in this way can we win. Ukraine is a strong country with strong people - we believe in the victory and we believe that everything will be fine in the end.
