At the extraordinary Congress of the Ukrainian Football Association, a new president of the organization was elected. As expected, it was Andriy Shevchenko, the only officially nominated candidate.

Andriy Shevchenko has been out of work lately after an unsuccessful coaching attempt in Serie A at Genoa.

Andriy Pavelko has headed the UAF since the beginning of 2015. He was the fifth head of Ukrainian football.
