The Blues went into the break as leaders thanks to Nicholas Jackson's goal, howerer conceded twice in the second half and found themselves playing catch-up. In the end, the draw for the Blues was saved by Axel Disasi, who turned Palmer's cross into a goal in the 83rd minute - 2:2.

Note that the Ukrainian players of Chelsea and Brentford started the match on the bench - Mikhail Mudryk came on as a substitute in the 71st minute, and Yegor Yarmolyuk appeared on the pitch at the end of game.
