Mexico - Ecuador 0:0

Mexican national team failed to qualify from the group at Copa America 2024.

In the last match of the group round, the Mexicans had to beat Ecuador, however they failed in their task - a 0:0 draw. Note that in the 90+8th minute the referee awarded a penalty in favor of Mexico, but changed his decision after reviewing VAR, depriving the North Americans of their last chance.

Venezuela took the first place in Group B with nine points, while Ecuador and Mexico scored four points each - thanks to the better goal difference, the Ecuadorians are second.
