Tottenham - Ipswich 1:2

Tottenham in the 11th round of the English Premier League hosted Ipswich, the penultimate team in the league at the time of kick-off.

In the ninth minute, the first bell sounded for the hosts when Burgess hit the crossbar with a header, finishing off a corner kick. In the 31st minute, Spurs were not so lucky - Smodic opened the scoring with a gorgeous shot. Just before the break, Ipswich scored their second goal - Delap was the quickest to get the ball under the crossbar.

For the whole of the second half, Tottenham tried to get back into the game, but did so only halfway through. After Porro's corner kick, Bentancur headed the ball into the net. But that was all the hosts managed to do as they lost 1:2.
