Rodrygo

Real Madrid has announced that Rodrygo and Lucas Vázquez will be out of action for approximately a month following injuries sustained during their La Liga match against Osasuna in Round 13.

Rodrygo suffered a hamstring strain, while Lucas Vázquez picked up an adductor injury in his left leg. The club’s medical team confirmed the recovery timelines earlier today.

2024-25 La Liga Standings

Vázquez's absence poses a significant challenge for Carlo Ancelotti, as the Spaniard had been stepping in on the right flank after Dani Carvajal was sidelined with a previous injury. Now, with both players unavailable, Madrid’s defensive depth will be tested further as Ancelotti looks for a reliable solution.

These injuries come at a crucial point in the season, with Real Madrid navigating a congested schedule in both La Liga and the Champions League, making the need for squad depth all the more pressing.
