Ruud van Nistelrooy was only last Friday appointed as Leicester's new mentor

Ruud van Nistelrooy was appointed as Leicester's new coach only last Friday, and on Tuesday the Dutchman made his debut in the Premier League match against West Ham.

It is symbolic that the first goal under the new coach was scored by the Foxes' biggest player of the last decade - in the 2nd minute of the game Jamie Vardy avoided offside, ran one-on-one and beat the goalkeeper. Leicester fans had to wait for the next goal until the 61st minute, when El Hannous sent the ball into the corner from 14 metres, and the score was brought to a smashing conclusion in the very end of the game after a great solo run by Daka.

West Ham managed to answer only with a prestige goal in the 93rd minute, the author of which was Füllkrug. 3:1 - van Nistelrooy wins on his debut in Leicester.
