Donyell Malen

Borussia Dortmund winger Donyell Malen has reportedly agreed to a move to the Premier League, with Aston Villa emerging as the most likely destination. According to talkSPORT, the 25-year-old forward has given a verbal commitment to join the Midlands club, although both sides have yet to settle on a transfer fee.

Unai Emery’s side recently tabled an €18 million bid, which the Black-and-Yellows deemed insufficient, given they are seeking around €25 million. Borussia Dortmund invested €30 million to sign Malen from PSV back in 2021, and since then, the Dutchman has registered an impressive 39 goals and 20 assists in 131 appearances for the club.

Last season, Malen played a pivotal role in guiding Borussia Dortmund to the Champions League final, showcasing his versatility and attacking prowess. However, his place in the starting lineup has diminished this term, prompting him to consider a new challenge in the English top flight. Should the clubs reach a final agreement, Aston Villa may land an exciting offensive talent ready to make an impact in the Premier League.
