Usyk’s total earnings for the year amount to $122 million

Ukrainian boxer Aleksandr Usyk, the undisputed heavyweight champion, has made it into the top 10 highest-earning athletes of 2024, according to the Sportico ranking.

Usyk’s total earnings for the year amount to $122 million, with the lion's share ($120 million) coming from his boxing career — specifically his two victories over Tyson Fury (in May and December). Interestingly, Fury earned more, taking home $147 million ($140 million from fight earnings). This allowed the British boxer to secure third place in the ranking.

At the top of the list is Cristiano Ronaldo, who earned a staggering $260 million in 2024 ($215 million from earnings and $45 million from commercial activities). In second place is basketball star Stephen Curry, who earned the largest share of his fortune from commercial deals, totaling $100 million.
