Manuel Neuer has resumed light training as he continues his recovery from a calf injury, but the Bayern Munich goalkeeper is not yet ready to return to first-team action.

The 39-year-old veteran has begun individual running sessions this week, marking progress after suffering a relapse during the recent international break. Neuer was close to making a comeback following an earlier knock sustained in Bayern's win over Bayer Leverkusen, but a recurrence has further delayed his return.
