Juventus were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw

Juventus were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw away at a resilient Bologna in Serie A Matchday 35, but still managed to climb back into fourth place, edging past AS Roma on goal difference.

It was a bright start for the visitors at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, as Khephren Thuram struck early in the 9th minute to give Tudor’s side the lead. The French midfielder’s composed finish promised a dominant night for the Turin giants.

But Thiago Motta’s Bologna refused to back down. With just over 20 minutes to play, Swiss international Remo Freuler found the equaliser, capitalising on a lapse in concentration from the Juve defence to level the scoreline.

Despite dropping points, Juventus move up to 63 points—enough to reclaim fourth place ahead of Roma due to a superior goal difference. Meanwhile, Bologna remain 7th but continue to impress in what has been one of their strongest seasons in recent years.
