Saudi Clubs Target Tottenham Captain Son Heung-min with Huge Offers

Tottenham Hotspur forward and club captain Son Heung-min is attracting significant interest from Saudi Arabian clubs ahead of the 2025 summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.

The 32-year-old, whose contract with Spurs runs until 2026, has spent a decade in North London, becoming one of the club’s most iconic players. However, uncertainty surrounding Tottenham's managerial situation and mixed personal form have fuelled speculation over his future.

Saudi Pro League sides are reportedly preparing “dizzying offers” to lure the South Korean international, believing his arrival could significantly boost the league’s global appeal. The interest comes amid a period of transition at Spurs, with head coach Ange Postecoglou facing questions over his future despite leading the team to a historic Europa League title — the club’s first trophy in 17 years.

Son played a key role in the final, where Tottenham edged Manchester United 1–0, but his overall output in the 2024/25 campaign dipped — recording just 7 goals and 6 assists in 23 appearances. Despite this, he remains publicly supportive of Postecoglou, praising the manager for “bringing long-awaited silverware to the club.”

Should Tottenham decide to part ways with Postecoglou in the coming weeks — as widely predicted by analysts — Son’s own position at the club could be reevaluated, making a potential Saudi switch all the more likely.
