AS Roma Eye Kevin as Potential Replacement for Dovbyk

The 21-year-old Brazilian winger is not short on suitors

According to Italian journalist Marco Giordano, AS Roma are reportedly considering a move for Shakhtar Donetsk's Brazilian talent Kevin, but only in the event that Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk is sold this summer.

While such a transfer scenario remains on the table, sources suggest that a deal is far from certain. Roma’s ability — or willingness — to offload Dovbyk could ultimately decide whether they pursue Kevin at all.

The 21-year-old Brazilian winger, widely regarded as one of the brightest stars in Shakhtar’s South American contingent, is not short on suitors. In addition to Roma, both SSC Napoli and Bologna FC have reportedly expressed interest.

However, financial demands could prove a major hurdle. Various sources claim that Shakhtar Donetsk are asking for €30–40 million — a figure that significantly exceeds Kevin’s current Transfermarkt valuation of €12 million. Given his recent performances and growing importance to the squad, it's unlikely that Shakhtar will entertain offers anywhere near that lower estimate.
