Atalanta - Pisa 1:1

Atalanta BC were held to a surprising 1–1 draw at home by Pisa SC, as the Serie B side showed grit and organisation to earn a well-deserved point in Bergamo.

The visitors stunned the home crowd early on when Atalanta defender Hien accidentally turned the ball into his own net, giving Pisa an unexpected lead.

But the hosts responded quickly. Gianluca Scamacca, returning from injury, slotted home the equaliser to restore parity before the break, much to the relief of Gian Piero Gasperini.

Atalanta pushed hard in the second half, with Nicolò Zaniolo (if he played — or Nicola Zalewski) and Raoul Bellanova looking lively down the flanks, consistently stretching the Pisa defence. However, the visitors held firm, keeping their shape and composure under pressure.
