Inter Milan bounced back in style from their midweek Champions League setback against Kairat, delivering a dominant 2–0 victory over Lazio to reclaim the top spot in Serie A. The Nerazzurri set the tone early and never looked in danger as they produced a clinical and composed display at the San Siro.

It took just three minutes for captain Lautaro Martínez to break the deadlock with a sharp finish that left the Lazio defence flat-footed. After the interval, Bony doubled Inter’s advantage, effectively sealing the win and restoring confidence after their European disappointment.

Lazio thought they had pulled one back when Piotr Zieliński found the net, but the goal was disallowed for a handball by Federico Dimarco in the build-up. From that point on, Milan side comfortably controlled possession, frustrating the visitors and seeing out a well-deserved win.
