Borussia D - Freiburg 4:0

Borussia Dortmund booked their return to the UEFA Champions League in emphatic fashion, dismantling SC Freiburg in front of a roaring crowd at the iconic Signal Iduna Park. The hosts were in complete control from the outset, effectively putting the game to bed before half-time.

The breakthrough came via Maximilian Beier, who showed composure to finish a one-on-one chance. Moments later, Serhou Guirassy doubled the advantage after a precise assist from Julian Brandt, as Dortmund’s attacking rhythm overwhelmed the visitors. Before the interval, Ramy Bensebaini added a third, turning the match into a rout and sending the home fans into celebration mode.

The tempo dropped after the break, with SC Freiburg attempting to respond. The visitors thought they had pulled one back, only for their effort to be ruled out for offside following a VAR review.

Late on, Fábio Silva put the finishing touch on a dominant display, sealing a 4-0 victory for Borussia Dortmund.
