Formula 1: Lando Norris Wins the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix

Lando Norris claimed a comfortable victory at the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, converting pole position into a dominant win after a dramatic opening to the race.
The biggest incident came on just the second lap when home favourite Max Verstappen crashed heavily. The accident brought out the red flags and caused a lengthy interruption as marshals worked to clear the damaged car and restore safe racing conditions.
Starting from pole in his McLaren, Lando Norris quickly took advantage of the battles behind him. While his rivals fought for position, the Briton built a comfortable advantage at the front and was never seriously threatened. He eventually crossed the finish line more than 10 seconds ahead of championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli.
George Russell, Antonelli's team-mate at Mercedes, completed the podium in third. The Briton was pushed hard towards the end by Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc of Ferrari, but overtaking at the notoriously narrow and challenging Zandvoort circuit proved extremely difficult.
The remaining points-paying positions were filled by Oscar Piastri of McLaren, Liam Lawson of Red Bull, Nico Hulkenberg of Audi, Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin and Pierre Gasly of Alpine.
