Lucas Vázquez: War in Ukraine just makes everything so much tougher
Lucas Vázquez spoke to the press in the media room in the build-up to the Champions League Matchday 4 group-stage encounter against Shakhtar Donetsk.
"It's a very significant step for us. If we manage to win tomorrow, we’ll have virtually assured our qualification. That's no mean feat, but we're doing very well and are very pleased with how the season has gone so far.
We just focus on ourselves. We know that if we win tomorrow, we’ll have qualified and that's all we're worried about. It's a major achievement to have secured our qualification with two matchdays remaining.
War in Ukraine? It would be very tough for us to experience what they're going through. It just makes everything so much tougher. We want everything to finish as soon as possible and in the best possible way".
