Red Bull racer achieves record victory

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen achieved a record victory in the final race of the 2023 season.

At the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the Dutchman started from first place, fought off the attacks of Charles Leclerc and did not give up the lead until the checkered flag. This victory is the 19th this season for Verstappen - an absolute record for Formula 1.

George Russell's podium and Lewis Hamilton's ninth place helped the Mercedes team get ahead of Ferrari in the Constructors' Championship and take second place.
