football remains at the center of Andrés Iniesta ambitions

Spanish football legend Andrés Iniesta has officially entered the world of club ownership.

The former Barcelona midfielder, through his company NSN, has acquired Danish club FC Helsingør—known as Elsinore in English-speaking circles. Currently competing in Denmark’s second division, Helsingør has a growing reputation and now boasts one of the most iconic figures in football as its owner.

Iniesta retired as a player earlier this year, marking the end of a storied career that saw him win every major trophy at club and international level. Yet, as this move shows, football remains at the center of his ambitions.

Speaking about the acquisition, Iniesta highlighted his commitment to fostering the club’s growth and further integrating his legacy into the game. While specifics about his plans for Helsingør are yet to be revealed, fans of the Danish side can undoubtedly expect exciting times ahead under the stewardship of one of football’s greats.
