The Indiana Pacers advance to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals

The Indiana Pacers have booked their spot in the NBA Finals for the first time in 24 years, defeating the New York Knicks 125–108 in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Siakam and Haliburton Lead the Way

Pascal Siakam was the star of the night, pouring in 31 points, while Tyrese Haliburton delivered a crucial double-double with 21 points and 13 assists. Indiana broke away from the Knicks midway through the third quarter and never looked back, holding firm to close out the series 4–2.

Knicks’ Comeback Hopes Fall Short

The Knicks were aiming to become just the 14th team in NBA history to rally back from a 1–3 series deficit, but their hopes faded under Indiana’s relentless pressure. New York has not reached the NBA Finals since their lone title win in 1973 — a drought that now extends further.

Indiana vs. Oklahoma: The Finals Matchup

With this victory, the Pacers advance to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals. It marks Indiana’s seventh trip to the championship stage, their first since 2000 when they were led by Reggie Miller and fell to the Los Angeles Lakers.
