Fenerbahçe Seal Deal for Ederson - City Set to Sign Donnarumma
Fenerbahçe have reached a full agreement with Manchester City for the transfer of Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson, according to top-tier insider Fabrizio Romano.
The Turkish giants initially offered €12 million for the 31-year-old, but that bid was rejected by the Premier League champions. After further negotiations, a final agreement was struck for a fee in the region of €13–14 million.
Ederson joined Manchester City in 2017 from Benfica for €40 million and went on to become one of the most decorated goalkeepers in English football history. During his time at the Etihad, he won six Premier League titles and lifted the UEFA Champions League in 2021. In the 2024/25 season, he made 40 appearances for the Citizens, conceding 54 goals.
His departure now clears the path for City to complete the signing of Gianluigi Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain. The Italian international is reportedly pushing for the move himself, and according to sources, the two clubs have already reached an agreement in principle.
