Juventus and Milan consider swap deal

Juventus are exploring the possibility of a player exchange with AC Milan, according to Tuttosport. The proposed arrangement would see Federico Gatti and Ruben Loftus-Cheek switch clubs on loan for the remainder of the season.
The idea reportedly emerged during a meeting held on Friday involving Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti, chief executive Damien Comolli and newly appointed sporting director Marco Ottolini.
Juventus’ priorities for the January transfer window remain unchanged, with the club still targeting a versatile central midfielder and a rotation option to support Kenan Yıldız in attacking areas.
Spalletti is understood to be a strong admirer of Loftus-Cheek, who recently turned down a move to Lazio despite direct interest from Maurizio Sarri.
The England international is keen for increased playing time as he looks to secure a place in the England squad for the 2026 World Cup. Juventus, who remain active in three competitions, could offer him greater opportunities to showcase his qualities in the second half of the campaign.
