Shakhtar's football director Darijo Srna speaking today to "Football NEWS" commented on the future of first team's coach Roberto De Zerbi and the possible return of foreign players.

"Roberto De Zerbi is still the coach of Shakhtar. Later we will sit down and talk with him, we will wait for his decision. He did a lot for Shakhtar in seven months that he is here. He helped the team get to the Champions League group stage twice, won the Ukrainian Super Cup. One year ago he joined the team with world-class football players, however today we don’t know which of them will remain in Shakhtar.

Can I replace De Zerbi if he leaves the team? Today i would say no. Everyone knows that I am Shakhtar's man, that I would do anything for our team. Therefore, if there is a need for me to become a head coach, then there is no problem, I am ready. However, this decision has to be made by our president and today there are many better coaches for Shakhtar than Srna.

When will our foreign players return? Everything depends on the situation in Ukraine. No one will return for as along as there is martial law in the country. But we hope that everything will be fine - we still have two more months ahead of us before the start of a new season," said Srna.
