Paris Saint-Germain has officially announced that Ismaël Gharbi has signed his first professional contract. The midfielder is now tied down to the capital club until 30th June 2025.

After starting out in football at Paris FC, Gharbi joined Paris Saint-Germain’s pre-academy centre in 2016. The capital-born player then graduated to the academy in order to play for the club’s U17 and U19 teams.

Last summer, the young midfielder played his first-ever match with the first team in the Trophée des Champions against Lille in Tel-Aviv. Having been regularly called up to train with the professional squad this season, Paris’s youth academy product took part in two Coupe de France games and made his Parc des Princes debut against Troyes in early May.
