The president of the Ukrainian Association of Football Аndrii Pavelko commented on the future start of the new Ukrainian football season.

"Holding football competitions during the war is not only about sports. It is about the demonstration of our people's fearlessness, their spirit and desire for an inevitable victory in the war against the Russian occupiers.

This is a unique initiative in world history — football against war, football for peace! I am sure that football will strengthen public faith in the final success of the Armed Forces and the complete liberation of Ukraine. The start of new football season will be one of the elements of this victory", - said Pavelko.
