The battle between Metalist-1925 and Vorskla ended with a late victory of Kharkiv's team.

Visitors opened the score after a penalty at the end of the first half, however Metalist-1925 turned the game in its favour with two goal after the break. With 7 minutes to go Stepanyuk made it 2-2, yet it wasn't enough for Poltava team to secure a draw. At the stoppage time a third Metalist-1925 goal was scored by newcomer Boryachuk - 3:2.
