Guardiola: After Phil Foden's goal it was an easy win for Man City

Added at:

Pep Guardiola spoke to the press after Man City opened their Champions League campaign in style with a 4-0 Group G win at Sevilla.

"We wanted to attack too quickly [in the first half]. When they were playing better, we scored the second goal with a brilliant action from Phil [Foden]. After that, it was easy."

"I think Haaland's numbers across his career, not just here, are quite similar. He has an incredible sense of [where] the goal is. We have incredible numbers in terms of scoring goals and we want to continue like that."

"Lately Phil Foden is not playing as well as normal, but he'll always do a job, always run and always fight for the team. I'm pretty sure the goal and the assist today will help him."
