Celtic head coach Angelos Postecoglou’s thoughts after draw with Shakhtar in the Champions League MD2.

– First 55-60 minutes were important. We need to remember that we didn’t play at home, you always feel pressure in away matches. We played here thinking about endurance, points and maximum number of goals. Top level matches are always tough, but we have to accept what we have got. Yes, we scored a goal and took one point. If we will play like this in the future, I expect good results. As for the game, it was good. If we talk about the result, then we could expect a better one, if we would have scored one more goal. But you cannot change anything already. Generally, the game was good.

– How important is the first point in the Champions League?
– The most important thing is to dominate. This was a top level match. It was accompanied by a strong pressure, as any other UCL match. We played here to get points and it wasn’t easy. We had to do a lot of work and do our best to achieve such result. It is encouraging and good for the team to get a point.
