Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatoly Trubin spoke about the atmosphere in the national team on the eve of the League of Nations matches.

"Yesterday and today we had very good and intensive training. We are preparing for Scotland. It is easier now, because the season has started, everyone has gained fitness.

When you come to the national team, it is always joy and happiness, because you are playing for your country at the international level. That's why you always come with positive emotions. There is a friendly atmosphere both on and off the field, everyone supports each other. This is one of the keys to success.

As for Glasgow, I like the Hampden Park stadium, the atmosphere there. I felt the connection with the fans here last time. In terms of the atmosphere, this is what a football player wants to feel - support, and maybe some pressure. But this is football, it's much better with fans.

When you come to the national team, you always want to play and help your country. Of course, you want to play, but you need to work in training, prove yourself, and then the coach will decide if you are ready.

Games for the national team cannot be unimportant. Every match is important, so you need to play only to win," Anatoly Trubin said.
