Jack Hendry, Scotland defender, speaking to UEFA.com after the game with Ireland:

"It was a good game for the spectators. it was entertaining and end-to -nd, very open. Ireland had the upper hand in the first half and thankfully we got to grips with in the second half and managed to come out on top."

"The key message in the second half was to be more patient on the ball when in possession. At times we were playing into Ireland's hands by playing it long. We also got in their faces a bit more, won more midfield battles, so thankfully we got to grips with it in the second half and put our plan into action."

"We've done extremely well in these last two games. It's now about keeping our feet on the ground because we've not achieved anything yet. But I think we can take a lot from these two games. We go to Poland with a lot of confidence to finish top of the group."
