Sporting suffered their first defeat of the Champions League season, losing to Marseille.

The Portuguese side started today's match with a goal in the first minute, but after that it was all downhill for them. A terrible mistake by goalkeeper Adan led to an easy goal from Alexis Sanchez, and in the next attack Marseille took the lead after an accurate header from Arita.

Later Adan got a red card after touching the ball outside of goalkeeper's area, and substitute Israel made his own mistake, that led to a third Marseille goal. After that Sporting lost control of the game, as a result conceding again in the last minutes - 4:1.
