Zinchenko: The only thing Arsenal lacks to achieve its goals - is faith
Arsenal player Oleksandr Zinchenko spoke about the start of the season in his new club.
“After 5 years at City and after my move to Arsenal, I realized that I had not worked at training sessions at all. On my first day there, I thought that Arsenal players were some kind of robots. We worked and are working like crazy: on and off the pitch. I'm not saying that I didn't work like this at City, but at Arsenal the physical demand is much higher.
Why was I not in the national team, but played for Arsenal? I spoke with coach Olexander Petrakov - I really wanted to help the national team, but my injury did not allow me. I only trained one and a half times with Arsenal before the match against Tottenham. Somewhere from the 15th minute of the match there was discomfort. However, in the second half it got better. But to be honest, I have not yet recovered 100%.
Arsenal's title chances? I really hope to win the League, but it's too early to talk about it. 30 matches await for us. When I first moved to Arsenal after talking with Gabriel Jesus we came to the conclusion, that this team has everything to achieve its goals. The only one thing missing is a little faith," Zinchenko said to Vlada Sedan.
