Shakhtar midfielder Artem Bondarenko commented on the match against Real Madrid.

– Artem, congratulations on the Best Player of the Match award. What are you feeling now?
– It is very nice. My task is to help the team. And the team want to help our country and bring fame to it, especially now, demonstrate that Ukraine is a strong country.

– How satisfied are you with the draw?
– Well, had we heard that we would get one point before the match, we would have been happy. However, taking into account the way the game went, it was very unpleasant to concede in the final minutes. We were close to three points.

– What did Shakhtar change comparing with the match in Madrid?
– We have drawn conclusions after the first game and approached the match in a good spirit. Besides, we have really difficult situation in our country during last few days, so we were very motivated.

– Did you feel the support of a home stadium today?
– Yes, we are very grateful to all Poles and Ukrainians who came to the match. It was very nice. These are special feelings. We are happy and very grateful to the fans.

– What do you think about Shakhtar’s position after four rounds?
– We set the maximum goals – to advance from the Champions League group. We will try our best and see in which direction the situation will go.
