Muani replaces Nkunku in France World Cup squad

France's Christopher Nkunku has been ruled out of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Didier Deschamps has called up Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani to replace the Leipzig star.
“Injured in training, Christopher Nkunku drops out of the World Cup,” read a French Football Federation (FFF) tweet. “The whole group shares Christopher's sadness and wishes him a speedy recovery.”
Muani only earned his first senior international call-up in September and has two caps to his name.
