Mykhailo Mudryk wins Shakhtar's Player of the Year award

Mykhailo Mudryk has been recognized by fans as the best Shakhtar player in 2022.

According to the final voting, 13,131 respondents (76%) supported Mykhailo Mudryk. The winger got far ahead of two other contenders, Anatolii Trubin (2,295 votes) and Taras Stepanenko (1,893). Generally, 17,319 people participated in the pole on the club’s official social media pages.

21-year-old Mudryk is called the best players for the team for the second year straight. He was also the fans’ favourite throughout the autumn: fans named him as the Player of the Month in September, October, and November. In 2022, Mudryk has played 18 competitive matches for the Miners, scoring 10 times and providing 8 assists.
