On the application and amendment of personal special economic and other restrictive measures against Parimatch LLC

Parimatch is a brand created by Ukrainians, developed by Ukrainians, employed, and owned by Ukrainians. In March 2021, the company received licenses for betting and online casinos. Over two years, the company has paid more than UAH 850 million in taxes, fees, and license fees to the state budget of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Parimatch brand has ceased operations in russia and banned any use of the brand, the company's technical solutions, and any presence in the territory of the aggressor country. This is confirmed by the official opinion of the international law firm Mayer Brown. In addition, in December 2022, the company won a lawsuit to protect its business reputation against the media, which manipulated and falsified facts to destroy its business reputation.

We would like to note that Parimatch LLC is constantly helping the country in the fight against the enemy and supporting people. The company provides ongoing assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Territorial Defense Forces, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, the Special Operations Forces, and public and private charitable foundations. The company has received numerous commendations from the government and Army, including from the President of Ukraine. The total amount of assistance is over UAH 500 million.

However, after the beginning of Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine, some employees of the Security Service of Ukraine put pressure on the company, namely:

Economic and psychological terrorism is being carried out against the company and its employees. The Ukrainian company, a taxpayer and employer for more than 2000 Ukrainians, is being pushed out of the Ukrainian market by blocking any activity.

We would like to inform you that during the entire period of Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, we have never received any requests from the SSU for explanations of the suspension of the franchise in Russia. The contacts with the SSU officers were only in the form of threats, intimidation, and extortion. These actions make it impossible to do business and help the army and citizens of Ukraine.

Having postponed their priority tasks, the officers of the Security Service of Ukraine have been using their powers, martial law in the country and unlawfully putting pressure on a licensed Ukrainian operator for several months.

We believe this is a planned campaign against Parimatch LLC and its team, the Parimatch brand, and the entire Ukrainian business.

We appeal to the President of Ukraine, who is the guarantor of the observance of the Constitution of Ukraine, human and civil rights and freedoms, and ask him to verify the facts and take appropriate actions regarding all illegal violations by the Security Service of Ukraine.

We are ready for a public discussion, ready to answer all questions from the media and law enforcement agencies, and ready to defend our position in court. The SSU's economic pressure must be eradicated, just like the Russian invaders.
