The Ukrainian Football Association has sent an official letter to UEFA and FIFA asking them to respond to the illegal inclusion of clubs from the Ukrainian Crimea, FC Sevastopol and FC Rubin Yalta, into the Russian championship.

The letter, in particular, notes: "We have already contacted FIFA and UEFA several times about the attempts of the Russia to include Ukrainian clubs in Russian domestic championships. We appeal to you again on this issue with a request to consider and take measures to eliminate another violation by Russia of all existing rules and norms".
