FIFA Women's World Cup 2023: South Africa knocks out Italy

Today in the final match of the group stage of the 2023 Women's World Cup, the South African team defeated Italy - 3:2.

The Italian Caruso opened the scoring in the 11th minute. But even before the break, Orsi equalized it, and in the 67th minute, Magaya scored the second goal of the African team. Soon Caruso doubled and equalized. But in the second stoppage minute, Kgatlana scored the winning goal for the South African team.

This allowed the Africans to score four points and beat the Italians in the fight for second place by one point. It was the South African team that reached the playoffs, and Italy took third place in Group G.
