Shakhtar forward Danylo Sikan shared his impressions after the first match under the guidance of Darijo Srna.

– The team claimed an important victory. What are your impressions of the match?
– The match was great, we won and did not concede. I think that this is the merit of the coach and the entire team, we received positive emotions.

– How did Darijo prepare you for the match and what has changed in the team?
– We were prepared only for the victory. The coach said that Shakhtar must return to their level. Darijo gave more freedom and emotions to the team, which we were lacking under the guidance of Patrick.

– Describe your goal.
– My goal is the result of teamwork. Stepanenko made a good pass quickly, Zubkov provided an assist, and Bondarenko missed the ball.

– What happened in the dressing room during the break?
– We analysed the tactical mistakes made in the first half. I can say that all attacks carried out by LNZ resulted from our mistakes. Of course, LNZ are a good team that deserved a goal in the game, they played great against us.

– What are your expectations before the match against Barcelona?
– Barcelona are one of the best teams. We will focus only on a positive result.
