Official: Mario Stanich has joined Shakhtar

Mario Stanich has been appointed assistant to the head coach of Shakhtar. He will help the new mentor of the Donetsk team, Marino Pusic.

Mario Stanich was born on April 10, 1972 in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

He started his career as a player in Zhelezničar (1988–1992), played for Zagreb "Dynamo" (1992–1993), "Sporting" (1993–1994), "Benfica" (1994–1995), "Bruges" "(1995–1996), "Parma" (1996–2000), "Chelsea" (2000–2004). Played 49 matches for the Croatian national team (1995–2003).
