Shakhtar midfielder Yehor Nazaryna shared his impressions of the cup game against Viktoriia and spoke about Marino Pusic’s demands.

– Yehor, congratulations on your and your team’s win! What key moments of the game can you highlight?
– The key moments, as the coach said, and in my opinion as well, are the build-up, the way we moved from defence, how we controlled the game. This is the most important thing. I think this will give us confidence in the upcoming matches.

– Can you say that this game was dominated by Shakhtar and the score is fair?
– In my opinion, yes. I think the fans who watched the match will completely agree with me because we almost didn't allow the opponents to create any chances, and we could have scored even more.

– We can see certain changes in the team after the arrival of the new coach. What exactly does Marino Pusic bring and what are his basic demands?
– As I said, the coach likes to control the game, likes the build-up, wants us to always use short passing, act smart and always think about our positions. Also, the high pressing, it is the main thing that is required of us.

– You scored a great goal from outside the penalty area. Tell us about this episode.
– The ball was 16 meters from the goal, so why not to shot? I decided to try and scored. Therefore, I am very glad to do my part for the team to win. The most important thing is that we advanced further in the Cup.

– Whom do you want to face in the Ukrainian Cup semi-finals?
– I don’t want to single out any club. We will play whoever we have to.

– The Ukrainian Clasico is ahead. What do you expect from the match against Dynamo?
– We are getting ready. This is, of course, a very important game. The match between Dynamo and Shakhtar is always a derby, so we will demonstrate maximum determination, try to show our own play and do everything to achieve a positive result.
