Zorya suffered its first defeat in the current Conference League season, losing the home match with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The result of the game was decided in the first half, as poor defending led to three conceded goals by Luhansk team. Alefirenko managed to make the score 1-3 late in the second half, however this wasn't enough for Zorya to start a comeback.

After today's game Zorya is down to the third place in their Conference League group B and is currently two points behind Maccabi.
