UPL: Kryvbas finished 2023 at the top of the UPL standings
Kryvbas had a great chance to end 2023 with a win, however lost two points to Zorya in the home match of the UPL 17th round.
Vernidub's team was leading 2-0 before the break, yet quickly conceded after a superb strike from Eduardo Guerrero, then wasted two great chances at the start of the second half and finally conceded again after a corner.
Despite a draw Kryvbas still finished the year at the top of the UPL standings, thus unofficially becoming the Winter champion of Ukraine.
