Heorhii Sudakov has been named as Shakhtar Player of the Year 2023.

9,155 fans (58.8%) voted for him in accordance with the results of the decisive polling. The footballer got ahead of two other contenders, Taras Stepanenko (3,734 votes) and Danylo Sikan (2,673). Generally, 15,562 respondents participated in the pole on the club’s official social media pages.

Heorhii Sudakov won the Player of the Year title for the first time at Shakhtar. Previously, fans recognized the 21-year-old midfielder as the best player of the 2022/23 season and named him the Player of the Month for March, September, October and November.
