Georgy Sudakov signed a new contract

Shakhtar and midfielder Georgy Sudakov signed a new contract, the official website of the Donetsk club reports.

The new contract between the Miners and one of the team leaders is valid until December 31, 2028. According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the release clause stands at more than 100 million euros.

Georgy Sudakov is a graduate of the Shakhtar Academy, which he entered in 2017. In October 2020 the player made his debut in the Shakhtar’s first team. Now the 21-year-old midfielder has 85 matches for the Donetsk team (13 goals scored and 13 assists).

We would like to add that during this transfer window Napoli tried to buy Sudakov for 40 million euros, however Shakhtar declined this offer.
