Official: Pedrinho returns to Shakhtar
FC Shakhtar signed a new contract with the 25-year-old Brazilian midfielder The new agreement with the player is effective for 5 years, until June 30, 2029.
Pedrinho became a Shakhtar player in the summer of 2021, after moving from Benfica. In the 2021/22 season, he made 19 apps for the Orange-and-Blacks and scored 4 goals. He also won the Ukrainian Super Cup with the team. After the outbreak of the war, he played for Atletico Mineiro for 3 seasons, participating in 43 matches.
Pedrinho is expected to join Shakhtar in July 2024.
