Ukrainian Mikhailo Mudryk did not win the English League Cup - in the final his Chelsea lost to Liverpool 0:1 in extra time. Van Dijk scored the only goal in the 119th minute.

The Ukrainian did not make it into the Blues' starting line-up, but came on as a substitute in the 90th minute. Mikhailo replaced Nicolas Jackson.

The Merseysiders became the first in England to win 10 League Cups. It took Liverpool 33 years to achieve this.
