Dnepr-1 loses the home match

Today's match between Dnipro-1 and Rukh lasted more than four hours as the Lviv team eventually celebrated the victory thanks to an early own goal.

The decisive moment of the game happened in the fifth minute. After a corner kick, Sarapiy sent the ball into his own goal and it ricocheted off the post and crossed the line. Until the end of the half each team missed one scoring chance, and then a series of three air raid warnings began.

In the first two periods between pauses Dnipro-1 played better than the opponents, however the hosts did not use their chances. In the final part the initiative was seized by Rukh, who lost his best chance to increase the gap in added time, when Dnipro-1's goalkeeper stopped Fedor’s precise strike.

0:1 - Dnipro-1 is defeated at home and can lose first place in the standings, if Shakhtar beats Kolos in their match.
