Players threaten boycott

After defeating Minaj (2:0) in the 20th round of the UPL, Zorya Lugansk held a meeting at which, in particular, the players touched upon the topic of months-long salary and bonus arrears.

According to journalist Ihor Burbas, the players bluntly raised the issue of immediate repayment of debts. Otherwise they will also not fulfill their duties. And if there is no response from the management in the near future, then the option of not playing against Dynamo will be seriously considered.

"As far as I understand, the club is trying to calm them down. Temporarily, at least, in order to return to this issue during the international break. So far the team continues to prepare for the match on Tuesday as normal," the journalist reports.

The match of the 21st round of the UPL Dynamo - Zorya will take place on Tuesday, March 12th. The game starts at 15:30 Kyiv time.
